Summary of Position:

As a Processing Clerk, you'll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly by organizing and maintaining files, ensuring they are always up-to-date and on track with important deadlines. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact by reviewing and updating client systems, managing file holds, and addressing status escalations. In addition, you'll assist with sale postponements, provide top-notch customer service to both clients and borrowers, and ensure data entry is accurate and timely.

Description of Duties:

  • Maintain Organization: Ensure files are organized, up-to-date, and compliant with timelines.
  • Client System Updates: Review and update client systems to ensure all information is accurate and current.
  • Manage File Holds & Escalations: Oversee file holds and manage status escalations to maintain smooth processes.
  • Support Sale Postponements: Assist with handling sale postponements, ensuring clear communication and efficient transitions.
  • Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to both clients and borrowers, addressing their needs with professionalism.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input data to support operational efficiency.

Experience and Skills:

  • Preferred Experience: At least 1 year of experience in mortgage or legal fields is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with a focus on professionalism.
  • Team Player & Independent Worker: Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is consistently required to: walk; use hands to finger, grasp, feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop and consistently sit, talk or hear. Employees may be required to perform all functions on a repetitive basis.
Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, to include the human body.

Work Schedule: The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. This is a 100% on-site position.
